The Cold Springs School of Gloucester City is dedicated to the intellectual and social growth of each child; to the fullest potential of each child. The parents, teachers and administrators agree that this goal can be accomplished only in an environment that fosters mastery of the basic skills of learning, in all academic areas, and at all grade levels. The school provides an early and ongoing understanding and acceptance of structure, and clear goals within the basic skills, in order to promote an appreciation of individual thinking as well as an understanding of the needs and differences within the group. If we, the parents, teachers and administrators of Cold Springs School, pursue our mission diligently and literally on a daily basis, our children will be ready to master the rigors of secondary school and beyond.

In the event of inclement weather or other emergencies, our schools may be closed for the entire day or opened two hours late. Information about emergency closings or late openings will be given on this web site, Radio KYW-1060, and through our emergency phone chain system.

MISSION STATEMENT

The educational process of the Gloucester City Public School District is the embodiment of visionary leadership, involved community, and individual needs.
